Here’s how it works:

Ignatius Press will collaborate with you to set up the best program for your school, parish or organization. We offer several options from which you may choose.

THE FORTY-FIVE PERCENT NON-RETURNABLE OPTION

This option offers the largest number of products with the highest percentage of profit. By selecting this option, you can simply use the suggested list on this website, or you can customize the list to better suit your individual needs.

To qualify for this option and receive a 45% discount on your initial order, your school, parish or organization must agree to purchase products totaling $2,000 or more at regular retail costs. They must also agree they will not return any products for credit.

Ignatius Press has created a list of about 175 of our best-selling DVDs, books, CDs, and other religious materials. You can just check “SEND ME YOUR LIST” on the 45% Non-Returnable Agreement form and we will promptly send one each of those products to you. Or you can simply download the 45% Non-returnable Product-Profit List and put the number in the quantity column of each of the products you would like to have at your Catholic Book & Film Fair. If you don’t want a particular product, put a “0” in that space.

If there are other Ignatius Press products not on the list that you would like to have at your Fair, just add the appropriate information, including quantity, to your list. Please check “SEE CUSTOMIZED LIST” on the agreement form. Then print and fax your customized list with your completed and signed agreement form, or attach the scanned agreement form and customized list to an e-mail addressed to dhanson@ignatius.com.

All products in your initial shipment will be sold to you at 55% of their standard retail cost (a 45% profit!) with the exceptions noted below. You can also take orders at your Fair for additional products customers wish to order from the Catholic Book & Film Fair catalog, other Ignatius Press catalogs and from the website. Orders must be placed through your Fair in order to be credited to your school, parish or organization.

All additional products ordered will be at 70% of their regular retail cost (a 30% profit) with the exceptions noted below.

PLEASE NOTE: Special promotional prices in other catalogs and on the website DO NOT apply to the Catholic Book & Film Fair. Please remind customers they are receiving free shipping (Ignatius Press pays shipping on all products sent to you) as well as supporting a great cause!

To qualify for this option your school, parish or organization must agree to purchase products totaling from $1,500 to $1,999.99 at regular retail costs. They must also agree they will not return any products for credit.

All products in your initial shipment will be sold to you at 60% of their regular retail cost (a 40% profit!) with the exceptions noted below. You can also take orders at your Fair for additional products customers wish to order from the Catholic Book & Film Fair catalog, other Ignatius Press catalogs and from the website. Orders must be placed through your Fair in order to be credited to your school, parish or organization.

All additional products ordered will be at 70% of their regular retail cost (a 30% profit) with the exceptions noted below.

THE THIRTY PERCENT RETURNABLE OPTION

This option allows you to host a Catholic Book & Film Fair with the option to return any unsold products at your expense.

To qualify for this option your school, parish or organization must agree to purchase products totaling from $1,000 to a $1,500 at regular retail costs. Unsold products may be returned for credit. The host school, parish or organization is responsible for shipping costs only to return products to Ignatius Press.

Ignatius Press has created a list of more than 100 of our best-selling DVDs, books, CDs, and other religious materials with a total retail cost under $1,500. You can just check “SEND ME YOUR LIST” on your agreement form and we will promptly send one each of those products to you. With the Thirty Percent Returnable Option you cannot order more than one of each product. However, you can customize the list by taking products off and/or adding products of your choice to the list as long as the total regular retail cost of the products remains between $1,000 and $1,500. If you choose to customize your list, please check “SEE CUSTOMIZED LIST” on the agreement form and be sure to fax or e-mail the list with your agreement form.

CATALOG-ONLY OPTION

With this option, Ignatius Press will pay the shipping to send you Ignatius Press Catholic Book & Film Fair catalogs and order forms that you will distribute to school families, parish families, members of an organization and others. You will take orders, collect payments made to your parish, school or organization, place a master order with Ignatius Press, distribute products and send payment to Ignatius Press with a check or money order from your parish, school or organization.

All products ordered through your Catalog-Only Fair will be sold to you at 70% of their standard retail cost (a 30% profit!) with the exceptions noted below. You can also take orders for additional products customers wish to order from other Ignatius Press catalogs and from the website, earning the same profit. Orders must be placed through your Fair in order to be credited to your school, parish or organization. Ignatius Press will pay shipping costs to send the products to the one address you provide on your Catalog-Only agreement form.

FOR ALL PRODUCT FAIR OPTIONS IGNATIUS PRESS WILL:

1. Pay the shipping to send the initial products as well as any additional products ordered through your Fair to you! All products will be shipped to the address you designate on your agreement form.
2. Provide you with promotional materials including posters, flyers, and a sample bulletin announcement. You can also access these from this website and print as many as you need.
3. Provide you with special Catholic Book & Film Fair catalogs and order forms (also downloadable from this website).
4. All orders for products after the initial shipment will be purchased by the host organization for 70% of the items’ regular retail price thereby enabling you to make a profit of 30% of sales at retail prices (EXCEPTIONS: 20% for Faith and Life and Image of God series; no profit available on any of the Didache books).
5. No advance payment is required. Payments will be completed at the end of your event.

THE HOST PARISH, SCHOOL OR ORGANIZATION WILL:

1. Advertise the Ignatius Press Catholic Book and Film Fair event.
2. Provide tables for proper display of the Ignatius Press materials.
3. Provide enough people to adequately handle sales.
4. Make sure all checks are made payable to the parish, school or organization so that one check can be sent to Ignatius Press for payment of the products purchased.
5. For those who select the Thirty Percent Returnable Option: Pay shipping ONLY on any unsold materials (if there are any) that you purchased and wish to return to Ignatius Press.

THE SIGN-UP REWARD PROGRAM

We would like to reward our Catholic Book & Film Fair hosts for collecting e-mails and names and address of those customers who would like to stay in touch via our e-mail special announcements and/or FREE catalogs from Ignatius Press. We will send our hosts FREE books just for sending those contacts to us. Sign-Up and Reward sheets are available on this webpage. Simply download and print the Sign-Up Sheets, place them in a prominent location at your Fair and encourage customers to fill in their information. Send them to us with your filled-out Rewards Sheet, and we will send you your free book(s).
