CATECHETICAL SURVEYS
If you are currently using the Faith and Life religious education series or have used it in the recent past, we would like your feedback and input on the current textbooks as well as on some future changes we are considering for the series. We have designed 3 online surveys for this purpose:
- Series Evaluation - in this survey you can evaluate individual textbooks (teacher's manual, student text, activity book) by grade and give us your input regarding issues such as language,
layout, age appropriateness, pedagogy, lesson flow etc. To participate, click here.
- Study Guide Workbook - we are considering replacing the activity book with a new study guide workbook that would take some of the existing activities, but incorporate them into a format with other exercises to provide a more comprehensive review of each chapter's material. The study guide workbook would allow the students to be able to review the lesson material more effectively on their own or with their parents. We have a prototype of the workbook that we want you to evaluate and compare to the current activity book. To download samples of the study guides see the links below. - Comment/corrections - not so much a survey as a standardized online form where you can submit a change, correction or comment regarding any aspect of the Faith and Life series. To submit a needed correction (spelling error, etc) or comment, click here.
