Become Part of the LifeWork Revolution!

Now more than ever, people need a plain sense of purpose and direction in life. In an age where there are more books and ‘experts’ on vocations, careers, spiritual gifts, virtues, biorhythms, and personalities than ever, people feel more frenzied and directionless than at any time in history.

Why? And what is the answer to all their confusion, unrest and personal anxiety?

Longtime vocational rehabilitation consultant, Rick Sarkisian, sees the creation of a “culture of vocations” as the ideal solution. This means people – especially Catholics – instill in themselves, their families, parishes, schools and communities a deep understanding of God’s true design for their life. Only when people live out God’s calling can their vocation and mission in life be fulfilled and their minds be at rest, according to Sarkisian.

To respond to this pressing need, Ignatius Press has launched “ The LifeWork Project.” This apostolic initiative seeks to cultivate the “culture of vocations” by offering the full array of Sarkisian’s LifeWork series titles – some 12 books and videos. The materials are especially designed to help people of varying ages to discover their true “calling” in life today.

Reflecting Upon Life’s Essential Values

The LifeWork Project wonderfully captures what Pope John Paul II challenged the Church to do in his Post-Jubilee document, Novo Millennio Ineunte. In it the Holy Father urged: “There is a pressing need to implement an extensive plan of vocational promotion . . . to foster a more attentive reflection on life’s essential values.”

Sarkisian’s LifeWork principle is based on Church teaching, and the use of all a person’s talents and gifts – in all settings: home, Church, profession, world.

We invite you to become part of The LifeWork Project by utilizing Sarkisian’s innovative resources. They will greatly assist reflection upon your vocation and mission in life.
