Peter Kreeft and Ronald Tacelli's Handbook of Catholic Apologetics is an outstanding book. It is a summary of all the arguments, pro and con, for the existence of God, for the truth of Catholicism, and the arguments are brief, clear, concise and cogent. This book is very fair and it's complete. You can trust this book.
Not only does this book demonstrate that a reasonable person would conclude that God exists, with at least a 60% probability, it also demonstrates that Catholicism has the strongest claim of being the one true religion. That's quite an accomplishment.
The Handbook also summarizes the beliefs of other major world religions and shows that they are not nearly as credible as Catholicism. And the Handbook also summarizes major Catholic beliefs and shows that they are reasonable.
The questions of the existence of God, and of which religion is true, are extremely important, and this book does a fair, utterly honest job of giving the correct answers. Aquinas would be proud
