3rd Edition Replaces Revised Edition!
The Faith and Life series Student texts and Activity books have been updated to reflect both the new English translation of the Roman Missal and the RSV 2nd CE translation of the Bible. The updated series is called Faith and Life Third Edition, copyright 2011. The Faith and Life Third Edition series is replacing the Faith and Life Revised Edition series. The Revised Edition will be sold at reduced pricing until current inventory is depleted. Schools and parishes may use our special Faith and Life Excel Order Form or the full Religious Education Excel Order Form in order to receive our special institutional discounts. How To Use Your Revised Edition with 3rd Edition Student Texts
Revised Edition Teachers' manuals can be used with Third Edition Student text and Activity books using the list of minor changes below.
3rd Edition Teachers' Manuals
Third Edition Teachers' manuals for all grades are now available. Teachers may continue to use the Revised Edition Teachers' Manuals as the impact of the new Roman Missal on the Student text is very minor. As an aid to teachers using Revised Edition Teacher's Manuals with new Third Edition Student Textbooks and Activity books, special guides listing the minor changes by grade and chapter as well as by the parts of the Mass can be downloaded below.

Activity Book Page Numbering Changes affect only Grades 2-5
Blank pages were inserted into Third Edition ABs so that activities from different chapters would not be back to back on the same page. Teachers using Revised Edition manuals with Third Edition Activity Books should be aware of a slight change in AB page numbering references as a result for grades 2-5.

Highlights & Advantages of the Revised Edition Teacher's Manual
- Spiral binding for easy stay open pages and photocopying
- Inserted student text pages are fully synchronized with all minor changes to the student textbook
- Inserted student text pages are highlighted for the reading that applies to current lesson
- Our alternate set of quizzes, tests and answer keys (which have been posted online) replaced the former set of quizzes and tests in the TM
- New layout format puts all the lesson planning boxes on the left page with the inserted student pages and other boxes on the right page for a cleaner and easier to follow format
- Activity book answer keys are now found at the end of each chapter for the activities relating to the chapter
- The Words to Know and Prayers sections from the student textbook appendix are now included in the teacher's manual as well
Quiz & Unit Test Packets
These quiz and unit test packets are password protected. The password is emailed to all new Faith and Life customers. If you are a teacher or catechist, please contact the school/parish office to obtain the password.
You need Adobe Acrobat Reader and the file password in order to view these files. If you do not have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download it here.
These quiz and unit tests are found in both the new Third Edition Teacher's Manual and the Revised Edition Teacher's Manual (revised late 2009 or 2010) and are different from quizzes and unit tests printed in earlier versions. These files are made available to facilitate printing instead of photocopying the quiz/test.

Audio-Visual Resources
The Revised Faith and Life Series Teacher's Manuals contain references to audio-visual resources that will complement the lesson. Since audio-visual resources change (new ones become available, older ones sometimes are no longer available, we are in the process of developing new resource correlations for each grade with more audio-visual aids for DREs and catechists. These audio-visual resource lists will be posted online and updated throughout the year. To recommend an audio-visual resource for a Faith and Life lesson, please email them to: . Spanish Translations of Unrevised Student Texts
The Revised Faith and Life Series does not exist in a Spanish Edition. Spanish translations of the unrevised student textbook (dating back to 2004) for grades 1-5 are provided below and only exist in this electronic format. We are sorry we do not have a complete Spanish Edition available. We provide these translations of the unrevised edition of the student textbooks for the use of whoever may find them helpful. Some schools and parishes use them as take home handouts for the parents of students in their catechetical programs.
